ACT Program Description

A great summer camp starts with great counselors and staff. At Men-O-Lan we are proud of our high school and college students that spend their time here serving campers in Christ. These young men and women know how to work hard and play hard, all for the glory of God. In our continuous effort to equip our staff for the challenge of serving and growing in Christ we are starting a new program this year specifically designed for preparing your camper to serve as camp staff.* The Apprentice Camp Training (ACT) program is one week in length and for campers ages 15-17. It will incorporate scripture memory, service projects, outdoor skills, childcare training and a vision of how to glorify God while serving here at Men-O-Lan!

*While completion of the ACT program does not guarantee employment as Men-O-Lan staff in future summers, it will be a consideration in our hiring decisions. Each summer all staff applicants, regardless of prior experience or training, need to complete an application, interview and background check in order to be considered for employment here at Men-O-Lan.

Ages- 15-17
