After graduating from Michigan State University in industrial arts and geography, and later from Eastern College in international economic development, Steve has used his education for the Kingdom ever since. Following 12 years in Jamaica and Appalachia with Mennonite Central Committee (MCC), and another 12 years in Philadelphia with Habitat for Humanity (to highlight a few), Steve continues ‘to delight in the Lord’, as his favorite verse describes, and in his wife, Janet, and their two daughters, Megan & Molly. The bottom-line with Steve? He’ll figure it out, and will show you how to tie a new knot in the process. Steve has a passion for learning new things and studying history. If it’s for roast beef or a breakfast at the Energy Station, Steve might be lured from his favorite spot- the island at the Lake.
