Khalena grew up on a small farm in central PA and was homeschooled along with 4 siblings. She attended Slippery Rock University graduated with a bachelors degree in Parks and Resource Management. Since the age of 17, she has spent every summer working at a camp. She started out at MOL as summer staff for the 2007 and 2008, and then came to work as full time staff in the spring of 2010.
Khalena is most passionate about her relationship with Jesus and serving Him! Spending time outdoors, working with kids, writing, traveling and being with family.
Somethings you may not know about Khalena is she- plays piano, did competitive gymnastics for 3 years, used to perform ballroom and folk dances. Her favorite food is veggies freshly picked from the garden and favorite verses are John 3:30 and Proverbs 3:5-6.
