Monica is originally from Northeast Ohio and has lived and worked in Jamaica for two years before returning to Virginia where she met and later married her husband Boomer Bauman.
Her passion & interests include playing piano and/or guitar, sewing, farming, cooking, being outdoors, and interacting with people. She’s passionate about serving my Lord and Saviour and being a Godly wife.
Something everyone may not know …her ultimate goal one day is to serve in Africa at the Mennonite Guest House where my cousins currently serve or to travel around the world visiting, listening, and encouraging missionaries.
Monicas favorite food is…all types of food… and is always hungry for Jamaican Jerk Pork, Dalton Dari-ette’s french fries, Troyers glazed donuts/creamsticks, or a Special fried burrito from El Campesino’s ….
Her favorite scripture is James 1 and favorite place @ camp (your special ‘spiritual’ spot…is all of camp! BUT, if she had to narrow it -probably the lake or the stump in the chicken’s pen behind my house…she will tell you she not good with being alone too long .
