Camp Men-O-Lan Visitor and Non-Working Staff Policy
To ensure the safety of campers, maintain appropriate supervision ratios, and minimize distractions to camp programming, Camp Men-O-Lan limits access to camp property during summer camp operations.
Individuals who are not currently employed by Camp Men-O-Lan for that week, scheduled to volunteer for that week, or participating in an approved camp program are not permitted to remain on camp property for the purpose of visiting, socializing, or "hanging out."
This policy applies throughout the entire summer season, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
All visits during summer camp operations, including former staff members, seasonal employees not currently scheduled to work, volunteers not serving that week, friends of staff, and other visitors, must be approved in advance by the Program Director or Executive Director.
Former staff members, seasonal employees not currently scheduled to work, volunteers not serving that week, friends of staff, and other visitors must receive prior approval before visiting camp during summer operations.
Any exception to this policy must be approved in advance by either the Program Director or the
Executive Director.
Approved visitors must:

Check in at the camp office upon arrival.

Follow all camp policies and procedures.

Remain only in approved areas of camp.

Avoid interfering with camp programs, activities, staff responsibilities, or camper supervision.
Camp Men-O-Lan reserves the right to deny or revoke visitation privileges at any time if a visitor's presence is deemed disruptive, unsafe, or contrary to the mission and operation of the camp.
The purpose of this policy is to maintain a safe, secure, and distraction-free environment where campers can thrive and staff can effectively fulfill their responsibilities. Camp Men-O-Lan is committed to providing an environment where the focus remains on safety, spiritual growth, and the effective delivery of camp programs.
