Summer Staff
Why Work at Men-O-Lan?
While there are many benefits to working at Camp Men-O-Lan, there is no reason greater than to see the Lord working in the lives of the campers. As a Summer Staff member, the job that is being asked of you is to facilitate an environment in which campers can experience Jesus like never before.
Former staff members can attest, as you lead at Men-O-Lan, regardless of position, you find the Lord is also working on you as much as He is the campers. Men-O-Lan is a place where faith flourishes, putting into practice what the Lord is calling you to.
Who are our Campers?
Our campers come from K-12th grade, from all sorts of backgrounds. A large number of our campers don’t know Jesus personally! God uses the staff to reach these young people with the Gospel, and create an atmosphere where they feel safe, loved, and important. Every single person on our Team is part of the great mission of facilitating “Life Change through Christ”.
The first week and a half of the summer will be spent training to learn how to work as a team, and how to best serve the campers. Staff Training will equip you with what you need ahead of the summer of ministry.
