Multi-Week Discount: 25-50%
Many families who need weekly child care prefer to send their children to summer camp. We recognize that this can be a huge expense and we want to help! Families who sign up for 5 or 6 sessions will receive 25% off of their fifth and sixth sessions. Those who register for 7 or 8 weeks will receive 50% off of the seventh and eighth sessions.
Camperships
We offer scholarship to those who need additional financial help. More information is available here. Look for the form during the application process to apply.
Additional help
If you need more financial support, we encourage you to ask your church office if they support families to send their children to camp. Many churches in our area provide partial of full scholarship for one or more sessions.
Men-O-Lan works with several other non-profit organizations to provide the opportunity for every child to attend Camp. Here are some of the ones with whom we are partnering:
-
Crossroads Community Center Philadelphia
-
Liberty Ministries

Day Camp Age Groups
Junior Camp includes our Sparks (K), Sprouts (1st grade), Seekers (2nd grade), and Trackers (3rd grade).
Senior Camp includes our Voyagers (4th grade), Explorer Boys and Girls (5th and 6th grade), and Pathfinder Boys and Girls (7th and 8th grade).
***Please note that we may combine smaller groups that are close in age, if we find that would work best for our campers and staff.***

Sparks
Our Sparks are children entering Kindergarten in the Fall. This program introduces summer camp to our youngest campers. Sparks participate in many of the activities the older kids do, along with adapted programs geared towards their age group. Their Bible studies are fun, hands-on, and focus on foundational truths of the Bible. They have caring and kind counselors who have experience working with little ones.

Sprouts
Our Sprouts are children entering into 1st grade in the Fall. Like the Sparks, Sprouts participate in many of the activities the older kids do, along with adapted programs geared towards their age group. Their Bible studies are fun, hands-on, and focus on foundational truths of the Bible. They have caring and kind counselors who have experience working with little ones.

Seekers
Our Seekers group is for campers entering 2nd grade. Seekers participate in all the fun theme related activities with the other age groups and have certain activities that are only offered to them. They can try new things the Sparks and Sprouts are not yet able to do, such as our climbing wall or giant swing. Their Bible studies are hands-on and focus on developing great character. Their counselors are energetic and fun-loving and have experience working with children.
Trackers
Our Trackers group is for campers entering 3rd grade. Trackers also participate in all the fun theme related activities with the other age groups and have certain activities that are only offered to them. Their Bible studies are exciting and focus on developing great character. Their counselors are energetic and fun-loving and have experience working with children.

Voyagers
The Voyagers are our 4th graders. They will go on adventures as a group, and will have the opportunity to select their own activities where they can hang out with campers from other groups. During Bible time they will discuss Bible and missionary stories, with practical life applications. They will have opportunities to ask questions and express their own thoughts.

Explorers
The Explorers group is for children entering 5th or 6th grade in the Fall. Boys and Girls will split into separate groups. They will do many activities together, but will have their own counselors and their own Bible time. On top of the exciting theme activities with the rest of Day Camp, Explorers are offered more choices that are appropriate for older kids, like the challenge course initiatives. Explorer Bible studies are interesting and go deeper than the previous ages, allowing more discussion on the topics. Their counselors are friendly, approachable, caring, and trained to work with kids who are transitioning from childhood to adolescent.
